Mbatia won in Vunjo

Election Commission (NEC) has declared James Mbatia of NCCR reform to the parliament of the province designated as a cadre of Chadema Vunjo, Anthony Komu and he won in Moshi Rural province bench and former Mi
nister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Cyril Chami through the CCM.

Announcing the results of these two constituencies in Kilimanjaro greet today, administrator Fulgence Mponji, said Mbatia has obtained 60,187 votes he defeated his opponents; Innocent CCM Shirima who received 16,617 votes and Augustine Mrema of the TLP who received 6416 votes.

Based on these results, Mrema has failed to defend his parliamentary seat in the province of Vunjo as citizens of the area were continuing the history of one-party kutomchagua MP for two terms since returning to the system of multi-party politics.

On the other hand, has lost CCM Moshi Rural province through the candidate Cyril Chami and back again after a cadre of Chadema, Anthony Komu declared the winner. However, the former minister of Industry and Trade was not present at the signing NEC show it has accepted the results.

According to Mponji, MP-elect of Moshi Rural, Komu has obtained 55,813 votes while Dr Cyril Chami he amassed 24,415 votes vote.
